The Hanseatic club released the usual quotes and the player’s career numbers, but not the financial terms. German reporting puts the fixed fee at around 2 million euros with a further 500,000 in add-ons, on a contract until 2029. These are journalistic reconstructions, not numbers confirmed by the clubs.

A career built the other way round
Moffi did not come through any top European academy. He arrived in Lithuania at eighteen, scored 20 goals in 29 games for Riteriai in 2019 and moved west from there: Belgium, then France.
Lorient is where he became a genuine Ligue 1 striker: 34 goals in three seasons for a side fighting relegation. Nice took him on loan in January 2023 and then made it permanent. His best season was 2023-24, which he finished as the club’s top scorer with 11 league goals, on top of the award for the best goal of the previous Conference League season.
Then the output dropped. In 2025-26 he played only 10 Ligue 1 matches for 489 minutes in total, with two goals, and two injuries in between: a calf problem between October and November, a second lay-off from 1 December to the end of January. At that point came the loan to Porto, where he found Francesco Farioli again, the coach who had already worked with him at Nice.
